I especially liked the printable Celtic music, as some of my teenage students enjoy it! I use material I have written myself together with books I encourage my parents to buy... I've been teaching guitar for about 5 years now, and I've only just found your website!but sometimes parents just can't afford a book- and as a teacher you sometimes do find your self searching for material.... (I could really have used it 5 years ago) :-) I teach at primary schools every week day for about 4 hours, so the beginner tabs you have are ideal. My thirteen-year old son is happily, as I type, working with the guitar chord sheets I just printed for him! Thanks a million, and God bless-Thank you for a most excellent site.I am a classical guitar teacher, who endeavors to cover chords and fingerstyle as well. I have a lot of books on graded pieces but not a lot of beginner pieces.
To get everyone on the same page, Open Mics (or “Open Mic Nights”) are open performance spaces generally held at bars, cafés, and music venues during off-nights.
I kept up my practice and now I am comfortable with using both hands.
Thanks to your kind words, I am enjoying my piano every day.
The music is the reason for getting together, and the performances make up the content, but it’s the overall feeling of community that separates a good Open Mic from a great one.
2) Host: The host of an open mic plays a huge role in setting the tone, especially around Purpose as discussed above.
