EDIT May 22, 2013: You can now go on the internet inside the game that you are playing on the internet!! WHAAAAAAAAAAAEDIT May 29, 2013: You can now tell Pimp about the MYSTERIOUS PHONE MYSTERY.
Despite the differences, though, these codes are still often referred to in general discussion as "Konami Code", "Conami Kode", or, less commonly, "Pseudo-Konami Code".
It's the visual novel you didn't even know you needed, based on the first commercial for the anime Free! EDIT June 23, 2013: You can now tell Pimp about the MYSTERIOUS PHONE MYSTERY, but like differently than the first time. I've played literally EVERY SINGLE VERSION of this game when to the branch of the Sim Date-like style instead of visual novel like a story that I don't choose, and NOT ONE OF THEM IS GOOD!!!! Because it says "Mizu's Mom", and if it were from her, it would obviously say My Mom or just 'Mom'. Especially with the "There's nothing wrong with this 'sausage-fest' " ? And when Mizu chooses to go outside, why is she so casual and comfortable about talking about her lack of a sexual orientation or romantic orientation??? I mean, she didn't have choice over her family name being Oygua after all.
When I started making this sim, all of our knowledge of the anime came from that thirty-second promo. Also, with a little persistence, you can call the police. Especially with the term sausage-fest in Pimp's words. Uhm, who the hell is Doctor Oceanstrike and why does he have such a RIDICULOUS NAME such as OCEANSTRIKE? Especially with PIMP-KUN with a PERSONALITY SHE CAN SEE RIGHT THROUGH!?!?!!!!???!!!! Sorry, I'm really bad at remembering some Japanese words unless I see them right in front of me!
The Konami Code has been used to create easter eggs on a number of webpages.
For example, East Jordan Church Online features an Easter egg on the homepage in which entering the code causes the site elements to fall apart.
